Brooke is a junior at Big Valley Christian School. She loves singing for worship and performing in musicals! She hopes to pursue full-time missions someday. She went to the DR the last two summers and is so excited to go back and continue building relationships with the people there. She is hoping to go back to the microfinance site and learn more about finances abroad!
Meet Brooke
Eiler is a senior at Big Valley Christian School. He plays Football, Basketball, and Volleyball. He is a musician and plays the drums for his worship team at his church and school. He wants to pursue a career in audio production at GCU. This will be his first mission trip out of the country and is looking forward to learning about a new culture. The sites he is hoping to serve at for the week are Appropriate Technologies, Sports, and Micro Finances.

Alex is currently a sophomore in high school. He loves playing sports as he plays football, baseball, and soccer. He would like to major in architectural engineering or civil engineering. He would love to play football in college. As of last summer, he has gone on one mission trip to the Dominican Republic. He would love to go back to the appropriate technology site, but he wouldn’t mind going to the sports site.
Meet Alex
Kade is a senior at Big Valley Christian High School. He plays football, wrestles, and is passionate about music. He hopes to pursue an education in music at GCU and get involved in missions there. Currently, he is teaching guitar lessons, taking a music class at MJC, playing in worship bands, and taking piano lessons to improve his musical skills. He has been on one mission trip to Nicaragua when he was much younger, but has been serving in other ways through churches.
Meet Kade
Elenore is a junior at Big Valley Christian School. She loves to lead worship, and is hoping to pursue a career in worship leadership and theology. This is her fourth trip with Students International to the Dominican Republic. She has served at both the SI bases in the Dominican Republic - Jarabacoa and Santiago. Elenore loves to share her love for Christ with others, especially with kids. She is hoping to go back to the Los Higos preschool site this summer to continue to build the relationships she has built the last few years and cannot wait to see what God has done in the lives of the people in the Dominican over the last year!

Noah is a senior at Big Valley Christian School. He enjoys playing football and going to youth groups. He attends a men's group weekly. He has never been to the Dominican Republic but he cannot wait to see what will happen and how God will work in his life and in the lives of other people around him through the mission trip. He hopes to go to the Appropriate Technology site and to help build water filters and share love through doing so.
Meet Noah
Emily really enjoys helping others and has always found herself interested in biological science. Every mission site appeals to her, as she is simply excited to get the opportunity, but she hopes to serve at the Community Health Care site again. This is her third year serving with the team Big Valley Christian high school sends out each year. Her favorite verse of the Bible is Lamentations 3:22-23, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” It is a constant reminder of just how good God is. She loves the Lord with everything that she is and can’t wait to be able to shine His light everywhere she gets the opportunity.

Jacob is a senior at Big Valley Christian High school. He plays football and wrestles but has only played sports for two of his high school years because of an injury and covid and is hoping to play some sort of sport of activity while pursuing a major in business and a minor in Christian studies at GCU, and he has never been to a missions trip only have told small community things and being a example of God in his own town but never out of the country in Dominican which is really exciting.

Brooke is a sophomore at Big Valley Christian school. This will be her second year going to the Dominican Republic and she is so excited. Last year she was at the Womens Social Work site in La Joya and it was a great experience for her. She learned so much about the people, the culture, the community and how powerful God is and what he can do in people’s lives. This year Brooke is planning on going to the physical therapy site and is looking forward it!

Isaiah is a senior at Big Valley Christian. He likes to spend his free time golfing and playing guitar, as well as having discussions about God’s word at a men’s group where they can share life with each other. He is planning to go into the medical field after high school but is open to whatever the Lord has in store for him. He has been on a month-long mission trip to Africa before, so he is looking forward to taking what he has learned from there and continuing to minister to different cultures. The sites that he is interested in at Jarabacoa are the Appropriate technology and the Special Education sites.

Jordan is a junior at Big Valley Christian School. She enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends. She has never been to the Dominican Republic and loves to travel so she is really excited to go. Jordan is hoping to go help at the preschool site where she loves to help kids and share the gospel.

Lydia is a freshman at Big Valley Christian School. She really enjoys hanging out with friends at youth group and playing volleyball. She also enjoys her time once a week where she gets to have a bible study with other girls. She has never been to the Dominican Republic but is super excited to get to travel there for the first time! Lydia is hoping to go to the site with the preschoolers and be able to share the gospel with other people in the DR.

She has never been to the Dominican Republic before but is thrilled to have the opportunity to go and share the gospel there! She is hoping to attend the healthcare site and learn more about God while also ministering to those who live there.

Simon is a senior at Big Valley Christian High School. He plays football, wrestles and plays volleyball. Outside of school he loves to rock climb, dirtbike, and snowboard. He loves to make new friends and is excited to learn more about others. He has never been to the Dominican Republic but he has been on multiple Missions trips which have been in California. He would love to attend the Special Needs site.

Kate is a junior at Big Valley Christian High school. She loves to play sports, hangout with her friends, and attend church as well as going to bible studies with her friends. She has never been to the Dominican Republic but is so excited to go. She is eager to see what new opportunities this will open up for her. She is hoping to attend the micro-finance site to learn more about what they do and to be able to share the gospel with those around her.

Sienna is a junior at Big Valley Christian High School. She loves to run cross country/ track and field and she loves to do Cheerleading. She has never been to the Dominican Republic but she is so excited to be able to have the opportunity to go. She is hoping to attend the Health care site and be able to share the gospel through helping people. She would also love to attend the Dentistry site also.

Titus Beers is a freshman at Big Valley Christian High School. He loves football and country music. He also plays basketball and volleyball but his main sport is football because football is the best thing ever. His dream is to play for the Oregon Ducks in college. He has never been on a mission trip or anywhere out of the country but since he is able to go with friends he is very excited.He would like to attend the appropriate technologies and preschool site.

Connor is a sophomore at Big Valley Christian School. He loves to build lego, practice his guitar, and research about topics he finds interesting. He wants to major in flying and pursue a career as a commercial pilot. He has never been on a mission trip before. He hopes to go to the education site as he loves being around small kids as he finds them a blessing. He hopes to learn about God and himself more on this trip.
